Allison Sommers is a master of of tiny artworks and strange beasts. I featured her tiny art books in one of the first posts on Shop Art Direct. I love these tiny paintings in matchboxes so much! For being so small, she certainly doesn’t skimp on the details.

As a lifelong fan of black cats, this offset lithograph print by Andy Kehoe is definitely on my personal art wish list. Kehoe’s work is filled with a rich atmosphere and intriguing characters that are hybrids of real and fantasy, human and wild animal, tangible and surreal.
